The "Higher Committee for Human Fraternity" implements and supports internationally, actions of coexistence stipulated by a major document of the contemporary world, the "DOCUMENT ON HUMAN FRATERNITY" signed in Abu Dhabi on August 19, 2019 by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayeb of Al Azhar Mosque. It is the first time in history that the head of the Catholic Church and the Sunni Grand Imam have signed a joint document, supported by an important committee with members such as Rabbi Bruce and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Leymah Gbowee. This historic document aims to promote better understanding and cooperation among different religions, encouraging human fraternity and mutual respect.
