Aisha bint Muhammad ibn al-Ahmar (15th century), Queen of Granada, nicknamed Aisha al-Hurra (the honest one). She is known in the Spanish tradition as Aixa. She was the daughter of King Mohammed IX and the wife of King Muley Hacén. With the help of the Abencerrajes, she conspired to put her son Boabdil on the throne. She was considered the soul of the resistance against the Catholic Kings.
