BOOK "OPUS IMPERFECTUM,"
RE-EDITION 2010

(USA, 21st c.)
Magos Fondation Collection

Written in Greek around 395, the Latin translation of the Opus Imperfectum in Mattheum was published in Constantinople in the year 400. It is the most frequently used text on the history of the Magi. Considered to be the unfinished work of the apostle Matthew, the work is attributed to the Priest Timothy of Hagia Sophia (5th c.), whom Socrates knew and of whom he praised so highly.
