The revolt of the Moors in the Alpujarras in 1568, was intended to restore a Muslim kingdom in Andalusia. Half-brother of Boabdil and son of Muley Hacen with Isabella de Solis, Juan de Granada (Nasr) was the legitimate candidate to be appointed King of Andalusia.
