Para San Beda el Venerable (siglo VII), Doctor de la Iglesia, &#8220;los tres Reyes Magos vinieron de las tres partes importantes del mundo: Asia, \u00c1frica y Europa&#8221;.  Si Denis el Cartujo (siglo XV), uno de los autores m\u00e1s prol\u00edficos del cristianismo, afirma que &#8220;los Reyes Magos vienen de Tharsis&#8221;, el cardenal Caramuel y Lobkowitz (siglo XVII) ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s preciso en sus escritos: &#8220;Tharsis est\u00e1 en Espa\u00f1a y los Reyes Magos vieron la estrella en Occidente. Llegaron a C\u00e1diz, un famoso puerto espa\u00f1ol&#8221;. Su contempor\u00e1neo Juan Tamayo de Salazar (siglo XVII), historiador, cercano al obispo de Plasencia, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 &#8220;El alma de los Reyes Magos est\u00e1 en C\u00e1diz&#8221;. Esta venida de los Reyes Magos por Andaluc\u00eda ha sido descifrada por las mayores autoridades religiosas a lo largo de los siglos.
