Piravom viene de piravi que significa nacimiento. Los manuscritos &#8220;Apocalipsis de los Reyes Magos&#8221; (siglo III), &#8220;Comentario al Evangelio seg\u00fan Mateo de Cris\u00f3stomo&#8221; (siglo IV), &#8220;Opus Imperfectum in Mattheum&#8221; (siglo IV) relatan el encuentro entre Santo Tom\u00e1s y los Reyes Magos.
