En 1471, el alem\u00e1n Gunther Zainer en su libro &#8220;Passional Allemand&#8221;, impreso en Augsburgo, toca t\u00edmidamente el tema: &#8220;el tercer rey estaba casado y su mujer dio a luz al mismo tiempo que la virgen&#8221;. En el siglo XX, la m\u00edstica cat\u00f3lica alemana Teresa Neumann, cuyo proceso de beatificaci\u00f3n se ha abierto en el Vaticano, vio en una de sus visiones a la esposa de un mago.
